Question 1

How does EventTodo work?

Accepted Answer

EventTodo plans your event in three steps. First, tell Evie — our AI event planner — what you're celebrating, your date, location and budget. Second, Evie builds a complete plan with a budget breakdown, checklist, timeline and matched local vendors and venues. Third, you approve the plan, message vendors directly, request quotes, and manage guests, RSVPs and your day-of timeline from one dashboard. It's free to start and works for weddings, birthdays, corporate events, graduations and more.

Question 2

How much does EventTodo cost?

Accepted Answer

EventTodo is free for event hosts. You can plan your event, use the AI planner, browse and message vendors and venues, manage your guest list and RSVPs, and build your event page at no cost — we never charge commission on bookings. Every planning tool, including advanced AI features, is free for planners. Vendors and venues can list free, with optional paid plans for lead generation and featured placement.

Question 3

How do I find local event vendors near me?

Accepted Answer

Use the vendor search on EventTodo to browse DJs, photographers, caterers, decorators, florists, planners and more in your city. Every listing is a real local business — you can view profiles, photos and reviews, then message vendors directly or request a quote through your event dashboard. Vendors respond with quotes you can compare side by side, and you never pay a booking fee or commission.

Question 4

What types of events can I plan on EventTodo?

Accepted Answer

You can plan virtually any celebration: weddings, birthday parties, baby showers, graduations, anniversaries, corporate events, holiday parties, family reunions, quinceañeras, bachelor and bachelorette parties, and community events. Evie adapts the checklist, budget categories and vendor recommendations to your event type, size and location.

Question 5

Is EventTodo really free for vendors and venues?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Vendors and venues can create a listing, receive quote requests and message event hosts free of charge, with zero commission on bookings. Optional Founding Partner plans add featured placement in search results and professional business tools like invoicing, contracts and e-signatures.

Question 6

Do I need to download an app?

Accepted Answer

No download is required. EventTodo works in any modern browser on your phone, tablet or computer. You can optionally install it to your home screen as a progressive web app for one-tap access and push notifications on event day.
